Folks often tell us what a friendly and warm place Grace Lutheran is, and we do our best to welcome everyone to the Grace family. We have activities for all ages, but most importantly, we are centered around following Jesus in our everyday lives.
Being Lutherans, the core of our beliefs is the grace of God -- how God reaches out to us to help us know we're loved. We see God reaching out to us through Jesus, the Bible, the people around us, in nature, and just about any other way that we'll listen. We believe that God loves us dearly and wants us back, no matter what we do. We don't believe that we're perfect or that we have all the answers. What we do know is that God loves this whole world, and we're doing our best as a community to share that love.
Pastor Dirk van der Duim enjoys getting to know people of all ages, and in his spare time, he can be found playing his guitar, singing, taking photos, or building electronic gadgets. You can e-mail him at: pastor (at) gracehubbard (dot) org
Ellen Hall is our church secretary. She spends a lot of time on bulletins, newsletters, mailings, and many other duties in the office. If you call on a weekday morning, she'll probably be the friendly voice that you hear.
Beth Mauch serves as our director of music and organist. She directs our choir, plans worship, and helps many folks get involved in praising God with music.
Jerry Cinicola helps keep the church in good condition, and we are grateful for his service here.
Many other folks invest countless hours and resources into making this community what it is. We're grateful for the dedicated volunteers who share Christ's love in so many ways!
